Mike Imprevento grew up in New York City as the grandson of an Italian immigrant who wanted him to succeed in the country that he grew to love. Pursuing an education and service in the military was an imperative.
Mike graduated from Fordham University and Hofstra Law School and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate’s General’s Corps of the United States Navy serving from 1982-1986 and trying cases all around the world. He has devoted a career to the law and for years handled complex litigation and employment law and is now of counsel to the firm of Breit Cantor in Virginia Beach and semi-retired.
His pledge to some fallen police officers he knew and represented led him to become a sworn Deputy Sheriff in the City of Norfolk completing their training Academy at the ripe old age of 61. He serves as a sworn Staff Attorney for the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office. He is the proud husband of Yolanda and has a daughter Alyssa who lives and works in New York. He has been on the air on WNIS for over 15 years.
